Implementation of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in environmental impact evaluation on production of ground coffee

چکیده
This study aims to evaluate and identify potential environmental contaminants from the production process of ground coffee. The research was conducted at CV. XYZ in Bali province, Indonesia which processes dry coffee beans into with trademark “Kopi PQR”. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) used impacts by applying Environmental Design Industrial Product (EDIP) method SimaPro 8.20 software. Analytical Network Process (ANP) then determine priority improvement recommendations. results showed that PQR” had several impacts, i.e. water acute eco toxicity, chronic human toxicity soil. impact resulted use plastic packaging difficult decompose, accumulation powder waste. recommendation for recycling waste chosen as an alternative XYZ.
